UPPER PATIO PARTIES/BBQS

WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY TO USE THE POOL IF I AM A MEMBER?
To help keep annual membership fees affordable for everyone, the lodge chose not to raise rates across the board or charge all members for pool access. That said, maintaining the pool is incredibly costly.
Over the past four years, the price of pool chemicals has doubled. In the summer months, our PG&E bill averages around $4,800 per month, and our CAL AM water bill is about $1,400 per month.
The lodge takes a loss on the pool every year, but we continue to support it because we believe it’s worth it to give our members a relaxing, fun place to enjoy the sun.
Where Does Your $75 Membership Go?
Your annual Moose membership is just $75. Sounds like a deal, right? Here’s how it breaks down:
So if you’ve ever wondered how we manage to keep the lights on, the water flowing, and the pool sparkling—WHEW! Now you know!
That is why we are constantly doing events and fundraising to support the lodge and many charities.
